Plans for 187 new affordable rental homes in NE Portland are underway! With funding from Metro’s Affordable Housing Bond, 147 new affordable homes will be added to the redevelopment of an existing 40 homes at Dekum Court. Construction will occur in two phases to ensure existing residents of Dekum Court will not need to be relocated. Phase 1 of construction (47 homes) began in April 2022 and will be completed approximately a year later. Phase 2 construction of the remaing homes will then begin and is scheduled to be ready for new residents by Fall 2024.
